Meet Our Director
My name is Heather Nufer, and I am the Center Director for Avant Garde Preschool and Early Learning Centers Sheridan location. My career in childcare began in 1999 and I’ve loved it every step of the way! Getting to watch each child grow in their own way is such a wonderful blessing. Continuing my education in childcare is important to me as well. I currently have my child development associate (CDA) and I will soon receive my associate degree in early childhood education. I’m also a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Being able to provide families with a safe, educational and fun-loving environment is my top priority every day. I have two daughters who I enjoy spending time with. We watch movies, love Mexican food and planting flowers in our garden.
